- Snowboard Slopestyle
Easily the best event of the competition. Snowboarders down the hill one at a time and outside deceive stairs, rails and jumps. - Speed snowmobiles and Style
This is a new event this year, with the judges scoring snowmobilers 50% of the speed with which they complete the course and 50% on how you are looking to do so. The course was inspired by the Summer X Games Rally course, to go with two competitors at the same time. I am not quite sure how it's going to work, but I am waiting to see. - Snowboard Superpipe
One of the classic extreme sports events. I love the atmosphere under the lights, music blaring, fans in the upper right of action. - Monoskier X
This was a new event last year, but I missed seeing it. This year I definitely plan to try. In essence, Monoskier X is a competition for disabled athletes who use a single ski with a seat rigged. It seems impossible to turn, but somehow they do a slalom course on it. - Snowboarding best trick
Although never can remember what a taxi or half of the cabin is, and I can never tell if they change or if you just did a 720 or a 900, I still love this event. - Skiing Slopestyle
Like the snowboarding event, just not cool. - Freestyle Snowmobile
For pure madness, this takes the cake. It was wild seeing kids go to enormous setback on snowmobiles. - Boarder X
Boarder X is such a fun event that the stodgy Olympics picked it up. Who can forget Lindsay Jacobellis' crash on the final jump in Turin? - Esquiador X
Like Boarder X, but he sees a little more accidents because there are poles and skis all over the place. - Skiing Superpipe
The Superpipe on skis is always a bit awkward, but I think it is fun to watch.
Former events that never should have been cut
- Moto X Best Trick - I guess someone decided that this was too dangerous, but I always loved it.
- Ice Climbing - It was never really popular, but I always thought it was fun to see people fly to the leaves of pure ice.
